How to write this meme
Write a concrete moment that would make someone lose it, not a vague “this is funny.” The top line sets a recognizable mess; the bottom line twists it into irony, overconfidence, or delayed doom. Keep both lines short enough to read in one glance.
Caption zones
- Top text — Setup or situation that triggers the laugh
- Bottom text — Punchline, twist, or what he is supposedly explaining while laughing
Example captions
- Top text: Me explaining why 12 houseplants
- Bottom text: Will definitely fix my life
Overconfident nonsense plus a clearly doomed plan fits his wheezing energy.
- Top text: Group project partner who did nothing
- Bottom text: Still on the title slide
Shared workplace/school injustice that you can only laugh at because fighting it is useless.
- Top text: Me pitching the plan at 2am
- Bottom text: That we legally should not do
He looks like he is proudly narrating a terrible idea and finding it hilarious.
- Top text: Left myself unmuted
- Bottom text: Right after roasting the whole meeting
Instant social disaster plus delayed realization is exactly this laugh.
Common mistakes
- Using the face for mild amusement instead of hysterical chaos
- Writing a long story that does not fit on the image
- Making the caption describe the laugh instead of causing it
- Forgetting a punchline so the bottom line just repeats the top
- Being so inside-joke specific that nobody else gets why he is laughing
