How to write this meme
Keep both lines short. Let the frog’s blank stare do the work. The bottom line should feel like a deadpan announcement, not a paragraph. “My dudes” energy is optional but helps.
Caption zones
- Top text — Setup, situation, or first half of the joke
- Bottom text — Punchline or the announcement, often a “my dudes” line
Example captions
- Top text: Me checking the date at 3pm
- Bottom text: It's already Wednesday my dudes
Relatable time-blindness plus the catchphrase.
- Top text: The group chat at 12:01 AM
- Bottom text: It's Wednesday my dudes
Mocks the overly eager weekly posting tradition.
- Top text: When the week is 40% over
- Bottom text: It's Wednesday my dudes
Turns a dry calendar fact into a tiny celebration.
- Top text: My sleep schedule
- Bottom text: Wait it's Wednesday my dudes
The frog’s unbothered face sells losing track of days.
Common mistakes
- Writing a whole story instead of two short lines
- Explaining why Wednesday matters
- Ignoring the frog’s calm, slightly derpy tone
- Cramming tiny unreadable text
- Forcing a punchline that needs a different reaction image
